Life & the Mind

Some thoughts in words...

Here are some articles written to maybe help those going through some stuff and wondering how to approach specific situations in a positive manner.  One of the most useful and benign aids I know of can be found in the form of Flower Essence remedies.  Please visit Michelle Gale's amazing site, Healthy Essence to access a simple but powerful form to help you build your personalised remedy.  Flower essences address the mind and emotions, and can help level out speed bumps and make obstacles far more 'beatable'.

Exercise - a different way of approaching and getting motivated towards exercise.

Food - why are we so hung up about food and what is the right thing to do, vegan, carnivore,.. fruit only?  Some thoughts on approaching food from a different side in gratitude and respect.

Jealousy and Possessiveness - Discusses the anatomy of jealousy and offers in that discourse some ideas and strategies for dealing with the 'green monster'.

Pain - unless you've lived with chronic (long term) pain, it is hard to understand the effects it has on the mind and body.  Here I offer some personal tips after having lived with chronic pain for 18 years following a severe back injury - now healed fully (with deep gratitude and acknowledgement).

Weight Control - a discussion on one of the more problematic areas of western life, the caloric density of our very yummy, salty, fatty foods and the seductiveness of our sedentary lifestyle.

Coming soon are sections on depression
