Hi there, welcome to the more narcissistic portion of the website. One of the first tasks is to figure out what to include, so here goes. Born in South Australia into an Air Force (RAAF) family, we were soon on the move and my first real memories are of Malaya (now Malaysia of course) and then Singapore, and back to Australia with postings all over the place, mostly on the East Coast though from Townsville to Melbourne. Settled in Queensland in 1980 with my mum following the parent's divorce to complete schooling and start trying my hand at almost any job that either looked interesting or paid some money, with construction, boiler making, bar work and sales featuring heavily in those years. After gaining qualification as a Remedial Therapist, I started my first mobile massage practice, which soon grew to crazy proportions. The next few years saw a number of incarnations of an evolving practice until in 1990 I became home based, working from under my house in Southport. In this time I met and married Tracey (1995) and we moved the practice to a commercial property in Ashmore, becoming Bay Street Natural Therapies. A multi-disciplinary Practice which also offered naturopathy and acupuncture services. Tracey started studying acupuncture in the late 1990's. In 1998, the practice moved to the other side of the road and changed name to Ashmore Health Centre to reflect the growing associations with orthodox and allopathic medical practices as well as alternate and complementary skills. In early to mid 2004, Tracey and I separated and divorced. I then met a wonderful lady, Michelle. She is now a part of my life in every way, along with her daughter, cat and two dogs! That brings me to present day. Probably a ton more I could write but blowed if I know what right now. Have fun reading some of the information on the site. I hope it makes some sense to you and you get something out of it.
