Evening thunderhead catching the sunset colours passing behind the Q1 tower on Australia's Gold Coast.
A sunrise shot on our first morning in our current home after a totally sleepless night.  It kind of made it worth it!
Another sunrise that had colours that were too unreal to actually occur in nature,.. don't you love that?!?!
A cool lightening shot.  I was up at half past one in the morning playing with my camera to take the first storm shot in digital.  This was done with a 10 second exp. and the cloud was about 4000 meters away.
October 2007 has seen some great lightening storms passing over the Gold Coast.  I wish we were still in the Ashmore house where the shot above was taken, but these were still acceptable. This was a really grumbly thunderhead that did not produce lightening but was such a good texture I could not resist.
